IronyAbounds Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The Bills seem to have been hit with an inordinate number of injuries early on this season. Take away the cramping caused by the heat and you still have an injury list that seems far greater than normal. Could the fact that the starters played virtually no downs in preseason be a factor? Just bad luck? If it is just a fluke and most of the starter return in short order it won't be a big deal, but if these are nagging injuries the Bills' hopes of gaining home advantage in the playoffs could be hurt badly. The loss of Hyde for the season could be devastating. Quote

Just seems like a bit of bad luck might be time to get a priest to perform an exorcism in front of the stadium or something. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 It seems like a lot of teams across the league are getting hit too. 1 Quote
johnnychemo Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 We've been pretty lucky injury wise the last few years, it was bound to catch up to us, and it appears to have done so. Better early in the season than late IMHO. 2 Quote
BillsFanMike Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The Mac Jones injury looked pretty bad. Quote
PayDaBill$ Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) Not blaming anything in particular but I’d like to see numbers we looked pretty decimated today. A lot of bodies were out. Are there other team that have numbers like the Bills? Edited September 25, 2022 by PayDaBill$ Quote
zow2 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 That’s why the 13 seconds will always haunt us. Bills were relatively healthy coming out of that KC debacle (other than Tre of course). Just a rare year of very few long term injuries. 1 3 Quote
Southern_Bills Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Today it was mostly heat, which most likely won't linger no more than this week. Before today, bad luck I suppose. Alot of the guys appear to be being held out for precautionary reasons. Quote

CDogg20 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Could it have anything to do with the lack of playing time in the preseason? Not as much conditioning resulting in injuries? 1 1 Quote
ToBillsFan Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Can someone summarize the injuries from prior to and including today. I can’t even keep up after todays game. Also just an ugly game overall, sweep it under the rug and move on from it. Teams need to be humbled sometimes and this may take the spotlight off us and let us focus on just playing. Quote

Aussie Joe Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 A lot of players will be day to day … And the coach won’t be getting into specifics .. Quote
