MRW Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 What could the penalty be if they violated it? Quote
freddyjj Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Yolo thanks for posting...but the investigation is being initiated by the NFLPA not the NFL. Big difference. 1 Quote

In all seriousness, it'd make more sense if they make him sit out the next game, but as this is NFLPA instigated instead of NFL, nothing will happen. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 This could be trouble for the dolphins. I can see some Monster fine. Quote
The Red King Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The NFL wanted him in. 'Nuff said. 1 Quote
UKBillFan Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I think I said this on the other Tua thread, but Peter King stated Tua was seen by an unafiliated doctor at the half who decided he was fit to return. Quote
Rc2catch Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The dolphins can’t even clear him. Its the independent doctor on the hook here right??? Or did he never actually enter the concussion protocol?? Quote
Ralonzo Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The upshot is, he's made of glass. Milano and Epenesa last year are two nothing hits that put him out of the game. 1 Quote

CoffeeDrip Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Honestly I don’t think the NFL can ignore this if they want to continue to sell the public on their concern for player safety. And the Dolphins have already given them a black eye this year with their tampering and tanking allegations. Did he even enter protocol? It went from head injury to back injury awfully quickly…. 1 1 1 Quote

The concern for the NFL is if it was safe for him to play, not if a concussed quarterback continuing to play was somehow "unfair" to the Bills. Weak. I'll agree with any prescribed punishments but the NFLPA doesn't give two ***** about his impact or the outcome of the game It's less about that and more like we all witnessed them breaking the rules. 1 1 1 Quote
Warcodered Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Just now, FormerlyPT5P said: So is roughing the passer. Punishable by yards. This will be a fine. Not some replay of two quarters with Teddy Bridgewater They might lose another draft pick. Quote
Returntoglory Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Why did he not go straight to the NFL tent on the sidelines?? 2 Quote
