Richard Noggin Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Micheal Smith on the post-game Amazon broadcast is bringing attention to what everyone knows: this was badly mishandled, everyone knows it, and it needs to be addressed. Miami is showing to be the MOST unethical organization in the league now as a demonstrable pattern. That owner has to go. 2 1 1 Quote

Maybe we should try to shine a light on what's obviously an awful lapse in judgement on Miamis end. I just started a thread to let people know about bis charity. Just donated $17 1 1 1 Quote

Realist Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Sherman said what we were all thinking. Made him come back in Sunday because it was a big game. 2 1 Quote

He has some skills, sure, but physically he is unsafe out there. Just unable to protect himself enough to withstand the game's violence. I've never seen a guy get ragdolled by every defender who really gets their hands on him. Almost every season, since college. Would have better for him to get knocked out of last week's game, which we all know is what actually happened in the alternate reality where the NFL follows its own very important protocols. Trent Edwards. A 9ers QB I can't remember before Garcia I think. Tommy Maddox. David carr. I can think of a few 1 Quote

boyst Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Steve young used to get brutalized. So did Favre. I remember Cunningham getting smoked a bunch. Grogan got lit up several times. Quote
Rc2catch Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I think this will mostly be swept under the rug. It’ll last a news cycle or so. The league will review procedures and nothing will probably come of it. Hopefully Tua will recover and be ok. I still believe the only one possibly in trouble or scapegoated is whoever the independent neurologist was at the Bills game who cleared him to return. Their coach, while we can question his decision probably can’t face any actual discipline. Quote
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 The other don't understand Dolphins had days to prepare for this game (Bengals). Shouldn't they check for sure if he didn't had a concussion. (thinking they possibly knew). Quote

REGARDLESS, there's a lot of questions to be answered right now and prayers for a kid that shouldn't have been put in that position Does Miami claiming it was a back injury change any of the protocols? Beast Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 If it was a back injury why didn’t Tua just go to the tent? Quote

Its going to be a long time until he is able to clear protocol. So... 60 minutes? 2 Quote
