short hopped it because he hesitated... you can see him do quick double pump which threw off his mechanics.

It happens. It happened on Monday night for apparently no reason at all. Mahomes has done the same. But today I can't help but think he was gassed.

Bad foot work there as he never steppedinto it you can see a bad base had nothing to do with the hand imo

Yes!  His footwork was all messed up on that one.  He still does that now and again, though by and large, he has improved tremendously.

For how hard he worked today I have to think Allen had to have some heat/fatigue/dehydration issues. Certainly could’ve affected his mechanics. The pressure he was seeing couldn’t have helped him either.

Looked like his left foot slide as he was trying to plant it to me from the replay.  Any which way, sucks he missed it but happy his hand is good.

he won't keep being okay if we don't fix this disaster of an OL.  They sucked from the first play.  Terrible job by Bean getting enough guys to protect JA.
