K D Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Yes it deserves its own thread. You have a few inches to go and you are in SHOTGUN? Of course the result of the play is a loss of 2 close to 3 and they need to throw at that point. Discuss 4 5 Quote
GunnerBill Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Yep. True. Bad call. But even after that Josh has Isaiah wide open for a touchdown. Too many mistakes. Players and coaches. But offensive line again is the theme that stands out 5 10 Quote
Murdox Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The team couldn't handle the heat. Amusingly, all the long drives - normally great to weaken the D - took a toll on the offense in the heat. So many players on their knees, out with heat exhaustion, etc. Miami won with their home field advantage. 7 Quote
Norcalbillsfan Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Dorseys worst call this season. The read doesn't freeze anyone when it's at the 1 yard line. 4 Quote
ToGoGo Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The truth is the Dolphins have a (in my opinion) incredibly unethical advantage with the sunlight hitting the road team. Incrediblely bad sportsmanship by the city and team. 1 3 3 4 2 1 Quote
Jerboski Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Those calls were absolutely atrocious go under center and sneak the damn ball it works 80% of the time just ridiculous 2 3 Quote
Mikie's Bills Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I think being on the 3rd string C played a role in the playcall. C/QB exchange has been shaky under C without Morse 5 3 1 Quote

Rocbillsfan1 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I have no idea why you put Josh in a shotgun there, I give the OC a lot of credit so far this year but that was horrible. 1 1 1 Quote

NickelCity Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 "OLine depth is awful!" I said all off-season. Well I'm often wrong and I wish that I was wrong about this. Admittedly, when you're down to your last lineman... 1 Quote
716er Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Team just did not execute. The play calls we’re fine. Josh failed to put it in the endzone 4 times. 2 Quote

This just felt like one of those games where it wasn't clicking. I think this could be another game like the first Patriots game last year, where when they watch the film, they'll see how much they left on the field. Hopefully this is an early-season galvanizing point. Quote

Twice they fumbled snaps under center including one that cost us a chance at 3 points. People would be moaning if Allen fumbles there and the Dolphins recover Quote

716er Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 The decision to go for the FG in which Bass missed on a 4th and 4 was a much worse decision IMO 1 Quote
