9/25/22 Gameday Bills at Dolphins Pregame Thread

The dolphins still have to stop the bills offense......which has legitimately punted once through 2 games (not counting the back ups where all they did was run against tenn)

Yup.  Too many are acting like the Bills won’t be filling those injured positions, and it will be 11 against 6.  Not the case.

According to Eric Wood, Von Roten took most of the snaps at center.  He did ok last week other than a few errant snaps.

This sucks. Morse being out really impairs the offense. 

I'd prefer they move Bates to center and play Quessenbury at guard.

The Bills are not going 17-0. Every week is just one more opportunity to stack wins and we've already won 2 of the "hard on paper" games from our schedule. So if it's a matter of risking more serious injury to key players, or lowering the odds of a win by maybe 15%, I'll take the lower odds every time. The worst case scenario is we lose one game, much better than the worst case scenario of losing a key player for several weeks.

Moving two players is almost never the right thing to do on the OL.  
 

Von Roten is the guy, like it or not. Mancz is the backup.  McD saw this coming.

Gimme pass rush for $1000 Alex.. 

Even if Buffalo is fully healthy the pass rush is the key to the game. Dominate the line and they should still roll. Can’t get home and Miami is gonna put up some points. It’s that simple imo

That is awful. He was terrible last week in limited action.

Yes.  Morse was limited in practice all week.  Von Roten took more snaps.

By the middle of the second quarter they will bench Roten and you will see a shuffle of the OL. Bates is the best backup C on the team. When Feliciano was the starting guard he was the back up center. They switch multiple positions all the time.

I think with the entire secondary out the Bills are likely giving up at least 24. Offense is going o have to play well in this one. Luckily everyone but Morse is playing on that side

Exactly, he’s front runner as MVP for a reason.  Today will be a big test for the team, let’s go get it!
