This sucks but if your gonna have a wave of injuries go through the team it’s best to happen early in the season

If we lose you might as well not listen to media until after the next time we play the Phins because the hype is gonna be ridiculous

If Tre isn't on the depth chart, does he count?

I don’t think anybody really lists him as an injury in that context?  In reports like this, at least.

I would suggest that the designation under which he's listed doesn't really matter.

He's a starter and he's out for a couple/few weeks.

Besides, it will be a lot more fun to say the Bills beat Tua with their entire secondary out.

Geez, The Titans lost the game, but cost the Bills a ton physically. This is a lot of players to have out after just two weeks. Bills can't afford to lose many more on EITHER side of the ball without adversely effecting the season. No team has that many solid backups! Lets just win the game, and regroup. This is the NFL. Only the strong survive. No one will have any sympathy, as it should be.

But if we beat the (newly crowned) amazing Tua with our entire secondary out besides Taron.... The hype will be monumental in the other direction.

Offense gonna need 38 to win this one. Lucky they can do it. Win a shootout. Josh is good enough to put the team on his back in a big time divisional matchup like this.

Thanks Beane.

For what?  Were you expecting him to bring in 8 defensive starters in FA?  Injuries happen.  We havent even played the game yet.  Stop with the pitchforks nonsense.  This team is very well built and managed.

All this means is if we win the toss, we receive the ball first and take it right down and cram it down their throats and score early. That way we already have a one up before they even have a chance at our defense

Yes, “thanks Beane”

Thank you for having two safeties you’ve developed in the system for multiple years so they can be as prepared for this moment as possible.

Thank you for drafting two promising young corners to hold it down until Tre and Dane come back.

Thank you for having such a legit DL rotation that we still have a ton of firepower even down Phillips and Oliver.

Bedford and Elam have played a lot already.  Johnson and Hamlin can both play.  Our backups are as good as most teams starters.  Edmonds and Milano look as good as they ever have.  We have a strong pass rush.  These guys are all professionals.  I think the players worry a whole lot less about injuries on the team then the fans do.  They all believe they are good and should be starting.  That is the mentality needed to be a professional athlete.

We have the best quarterback on the planet.  And one of the best WR's as well.  We will be fine tomorrow.  Games aren't one 13-10 or 17-13 very often anymore.   45-27 sounds about right tomorrow.

Per an article on NFL.com today -  "As great as Hyde is, (And he's one of the best) the most prominent reason teams don’t want to go deep on the Bills is Poyer. Overall last season, Poyer allowed 13 catches on 28 targets for 61 yards, 40 yards after the catch, no touchdowns, five interceptions, and an opponent passer rating of 13.7, which is just utterly ridiculous. As long as Poyer is on the field, everything else should hold together pretty well".... Now neither is playing. Tough ask to just say "Next man up". This is just hideous bad luck to have both safeties out. And also playing two rookie cornerbacks with less than 2 games professional experience. Frazier should get DC of the decade award if he pulls this off. Offense needs to score 35+.... Very doable.

Unlike the media we should also remember that Byron Jones is out and Howard has a pulled groin. That puts a lot of stress on Miami since they favor man coverage when they blitz…. McKenzie ate that defense alive on his own when we were resting starters.

So…

5 of the 11 starters on defense are out, plus rotational depth on the line.  This is fun

This reminds me of all the years we said “Yay! So and so good player for the Pats*** are going to miss our game!”….it never mattered

We are that way with the phins now, and JJ and Hamlin will play well tomorrow.
