That said, does that mean his $5 million cap hit is wiped out this year? We really should consider Poyer's restructure at this point, beyond the bonus restructure, he's been a real team player and even damn near breaking his arm he's been making outstanding plays.

The wording of that makes it sound like the ‘23 season … but it’s definitely vague phrasing.  He didn’t say “next season”.. but that also doesn’t sound as clever as #23 in ‘23 ha.
