I read some speculation that if he had surgery he could potentially return for playoff/superbowl run. Tough blow, wonder if we sign any veterans to the PS or go with the young guys.

While unfortunate, Jaquan Johnson has been here for 4 years. If we think he is an eventual replacement for either Poyer or Hyde now I’d his time to show it. 
 

He’s also a FA so he has a lot to gain now with the Bills or someone else

He’s going to be missed, but this is a great opportunity to get a look at the potential future Safety in Jaquan Johnson.
