I don’t think Mitch is starting caliber, but to blame the 3 and out on him where he dropped a dime that DJ dropped is a bit harsh.

I don’t think they will go away from Pickett once they turn to him. You generally don’t do that with a rookie QB

I never understood how people thought Trubisky would re-invent himself after barely playing at all in Buffalo last season. It’s like teams forgot the terrible film he had from Chicago.

Mitch is what he is. He needs his supporting cast to play at a high level. Pittsburgh is a mess. They can’t run with Najee, they don’t block well, now guys are dropping balls. 
I wouldn’t want to put Pickett in there.

Wasn't a good pass IMO. If you're going to throw it that fast it has to be right on the money. Cooper wasn't quite ready and it was a tiny bit behind him.
