Some part of his anatomy had to absorb that blow, presumably his major neck muscles protected his spine. Β They are almost certainly inflamed and likely spasming. Β But muscles generally heal faster than bone or nerve tissue.Β 1 Quote

ColoradoBills Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Dane Jackson is one tough SOB! I'm also sure that the good news brought a tear of relief to Tremaine and the teammates. Β Go Bills! Quote
UKBillFan Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 That's such good news considering how serious it looked last night. Obviously he's got something he'll now be dealing with; hope he's fully healed with no lasting effects soon. Quote

Β I would hope not.Β So the "no major injury" would mean he avoided broken bones or nerve damage.Β But he's going to be left dealing with sprained ligaments and sore muscles.Β They need to heal and get back to the functional strength where they protect his spine. Β I'm sure he wants to be out there, but he really needs to heal up from this. 1 Quote

pigpen65 Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Thank God! Thought I watched a young guy with his whole career ahead of him get his neck or back broken by an idiotic shot from his own teammate. This is incredible news, so happy to hear it! 1 Quote
