Because the league is hurting for money

You always seem to be hurting for money.  Why don't you start fining some posters for unsportsmanlike writing?  😇

Because hurt bodies are fine.  Hurt feelings...

Seems like it. I thought Derwin James would get cited for body slamming Travis Kelce. Though that game was a week after ours so there is still time.

I don't understand why the NFL makes a big deal out of this stuff. It's stupid. They're treating grown men like kids. "Be nice to that guy after you burn him for a TD, don't talk sh*t to him. We'll fine you if you do". How dumb

I get policing the game so the optics don’t look bad to children (never mind that athletes aren’t role models), but players should only be fined if it’s an egregious display of taunting (props/sexual/over the top acts). The players should be allowed to trash talk, it’s a grown men’s league.

#Rams LB Justin Hollins was fined $5,361 for a horse collar tackle on #Bills TE Dawson Knox in the same game.

Good. That was the most dangerous play of the game. I thought Knox's knee was going to pop.

$10,609 for taunting and $5,361 for horse collar tackle

Horse collar tackles and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me,

but the words you pay double more you see

I thought Ramsey came in hot after getting toasted, and possibly was going for head shot.  Diggs immediately gestured towards his head.  I figured either Diggs was saying “that was cheap shot going after my head, Toast” or he was saying “use your head dummy.  I just outsmarted you”

Makes complete sense... taunting - this risk of hurting someones feelings 10k fine.  Horse collar - the risk of ruining someones career/life - 5k fine.  Good ole NFL logic.
