BillsFan619 Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 (edited) Monday Night Football in our home opener. It's going to be FANdemonium. Bills Mafia out in full force for all the NFL to see. The Titans would love to keep our high powered offense off the field as much as possible through long sustained drives. With Derrick Henry being the obvious focal point of the offense, our DL is going to need to control the line consistently on Monday night so that he's contained. Keep him contained and we have a great chance to keep those long drives to a minimum. Get the Titans in 3rd and 5 or more consistently and it's going to be a long night for them. I believe our DL will be up to the challenge. We've done well against Henry overall throughout his career. In four games against the Bills he has 334 total rush yards. Not bad but not great. Think about this. Take away his 76 yard run last year, which some would say shouldn't have even counted because of all the holding on that play, and his total rushing yards against us in four games is 258 yards. Even with Oliver and Settle up in the air, our DL comes to "eat" again and DaQuan Jones is my pick for biggest impact. Who ya got, Bills Mafia? PS - Who ya got, @Success? @machine gun kelly, @LyndonvilleBill and @muppy, it’s time for your predictions. Edited September 16, 2022 by BillsFan619 Quote
Lost Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Dawson Knox. Just because he was quiet last game. I expect at least 1 TD catch from him 5 Quote

Son of a K-Gun Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Motor on offense. One of the rookies on D…Benford/Elam in run support or even Bernard if the Bills go with more 4-3. Quote
EasternOHBillsFan Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Bass and McKenzie. Bass will probably have at least 4 field goals and McKenzie will have a monster game. Quote
ColoradoBills Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Milano and Edmunds. 1. In the beginning of the game they negate any long Derrick Henry runs. Of course, it's helped by the DL. 2. As the game progresses, they keep Tannehill from running for cheap 1st downs. 3. At the end they defend the middle in the passing game making Tannehill throw outside. 4. After the Bills success with rushing only 4 last week (and most of the 1st half of Monday's game) they each get a called blitz and it catches the Titans off guard. Quote
The Wiz Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 (edited) Gabe - offense Jones - defense Less valuable player award goes to Martin. Edited September 16, 2022 by The Wiz Quote
Bangarang Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Titans secondary is suspect so I’ll say Diggs. 1 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 On D, DQuan and Phillips. Lawson as well if he is playing, which I assume he would be with Settle and Oliver likely out(I believe he would be in even if they were healthy due to his size and edge setting ability in the run game) as they contain Henry and force the Titans to throw more than they want and force them into 3rd and longs. On O, Davis, Diggs, McKenzie and Crowder...Tennessee's starting CB is out and he isn't that good to begin with so the depth behind him is shaky at best. 1 Quote
eball Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Well, I failed on this one miserably last week (Oliver) but at least the DL did show up. I'm going to say James Cook. I think the rookie shakes off the fumble and makes some splash plays for this offense. 1 1 Quote
Success Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Groot! I couldn't believe how big he looked last week compared to last season (but just as fast). He's due for a breakout game. 3 Quote
ChevyVanMiller Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 I think Dawson Knox is going to have a big day for the offense and I have a feeling that Tauron Johnson will have a pick for the D. 1 Quote

H2o Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 I'm going to say Von Miller. I think he is truly the x-factor on this defense and opens up things for everyone else. I think he gets 3 sacks and Tannehill's head is on a swivel all night looking for pressure. Quote
Rc2catch Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 This is a Tremaine edmunds game all day long.. Ton of run attempts, tons of play action.. As Colorado said earlier him and Milano are the key to not letting Henry hit the second level, and not biting on all the play action. And I think this is a slot day on offense. Rather it’s crowder or McKenzie they should both get favorable matchups 2 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Imma go Motor on offense (assuming the McC hardon for Moss is flaccid this week), DaQuan Jones on defense. With Oliver and Settle dinged up, DQJ gonna be key to stopping Henry. Quote
