I believe last season networks implemented a rule where they won’t change the game for a different one no matter the score.

He needs to at least make the playoffs first. It is hard to knock his play, I get that. But Josh has 3 playoff wins. Mahomes has a ring. Herbert hasn't yet made the post season.

Yes, you let him walk.  Or better yet you force him to play out his contract and then use the franchise tag on him.  There were real questions about whether Murray was a true franchise QB.  But hey, Murray's stats won't look that bad as he piles up the garbage yards against a prevent defense.

I'll say this about the Chiefs, their defense from front to back is not nearly as impressive as ours is. Our pass rush should be the difference maker in that one.
