The kid recvd his welcome to the NFL moment. As if Josh Super Allen was perfect from day 1. Just have to marinate that filet a little more. He’ll be fine. Oh, and what is this arrogance stuff? I watch, read, and listen as much as most of you. I have no indication he possesses those qualities. Makes no sense. 2 1 Quote
Bimmer323i Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 I doubt anyone has any first impressions cause we’ve seen him take one carry in the regular season and he put it on the the ground… get back to us week 8 or so and maybe will have a better answer for you Quote
Southern_Bills Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 I think he will be fine, his attitude seems like maybe he likes his privacy. It will limit his earning potential off the field but it shouldn't really matter. Quote
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 The athletic had a nice piece about his first carry - he cut up field when he should have followed blocks outside. He basically ran into traffic and fumbled. The amount of outside carries in that game made it seem like it was a focus for them to avoid donald by using tosses and off tackle stuff. Cook is probably the best back suited to that, but we saw moss getting those touches even though its not his strong suit. Quote

DieHardBillsFan Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 I am not agreeing with the full post, he has the one break away that showed his potential, but he really isn't seeming to find the hole. It's obviously too early, but some flash promise early, especially at RB, he really hasn't... yet. Quote
Bangarang Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 He doesn’t play as fast as I thought he would. 2 2 Quote
BillsFan692 Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 I dont really like him so far but its early. He has looked slower than i expected but flashed some speed in garbage time tonight. Need to see more of course he is young rookie so he has time to put it together. Singletary are best back its not even close IMO Just now, Bangarang said: He doesn’t play as fast as I thought he would. Yes exactly but he got tast tonight once he got vertical in garbage time. Looks slow moving laterally but he still young rook he needs to develop a little more muscle maybe Quote

NickelCity Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 I thought he ran alright, but I was distracted a bit. I think they were looking at some of his inside the tackle abilities. As far as RB is concerned, at this point I'm just frustrated when Devin is brought out for Moss. He's so much better in the run game. Even in short yardage. 2 2 Quote
BillsfaninSB Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 So glad Cook got some work in tonight thanks to the blow out. I hope he can build off of that. He was the leading rusher for the Bills tonight so that’s not nothing. 2 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 He looked good when he had the ball pitched to him. That's somewhere to start. 2 1 Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 I think the Bills have the right idea. You can put him in the slot or outside twice a game and see if you can find a mismatch. That’s about all he can handle right now. Like others have said, Singletary is our best running back, Moss should never see the field, and neither should James Cook really. Quote
coastalpika Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 He looked good to me. Almost all of his snaps were at the end when the Titans knew that every play would be a run and he still moved the chains. He is going to be one heck of a weapon. 5 Quote
DCofNC Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Looks like a wasted 2nd round pick so far, hope he finds something more to offer. 1 Quote

mikemac2001 Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 (edited) That wheel and up route the DB just hit him and knocked him down I am not sure why there wasn’t a penalty but it didn’t really matter at that point Edited September 20, 2022 by mikemac2001 Quote
