RaoulDuke79 Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 A bit of a leap after one game, don't ya think? 1 Quote

He will never make it in the NFL if he can’t: A) Hold onto the football and B) Run between the tackles. I see a player who has top 10 potential, but his personality is a bit abrasive to me. For a guy who hasn’t proven a darn thing, I see no reason for him to have such a disproportionate level of confidence. Yup, you made it to the NFL, your brother is a good player, you were drafted in the 2nd round, but keep in mind that even a player drafted in the 7th round can eat your lunch if you’re not careful. yes. He is abrasively self confident. You are humble. 3 2 Quote

Yup, my opinion is unpopular, you don’t like it and I don’t care. Nevermind the fact that I said Cook has top 10 potential, he just needs more seasoning. That would be fine, but that is not what you said. You said - “For a RB that is kind of smug and full of himself, boy did he disappoint” And - “his personality is a bit abrasive to me.” And finally - “For a guy who hasn’t proven a darn thing, I see no reason for him to have such a disproportionate level of confidence.” That is what people want to understand and are dogging you about. You are fine if you had stated - I was disappointed with Cook because he fumbled on carry #1 and seems to lack the potential to run between the tackles. No issues, but you spend 2/3rds your post belittling a player you have no personal knowledge of for an attitude that you do not know anything about and assume he is smug, abrasive, and full of himself. Eliminate the non-sense with the post and you might be ok - the other stuff is just your own personal garbage - it is 100% a you problem. 1 6 Quote

How very spicy of you! Tell me, how much time have you spent with him? How many people do you know who have ever spent and hour with him? Are there other successful people you resent? If it strikes a nerve, we are cheaper than a therapist, but I think there are limits. 1 2 1 Quote
JoshAllin Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 Don't worry he will shine when he plays a Jets type defense at least more reps for him Quote

blacklabel Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 OP you sound like the kind of "fan" that would see Josh Allen out getting a pizza and you'd jump on here and say, "Shouldn't he be studying his playbook?!" Blechhhh. Knock it off. There's nothing to go off. Kid carried the ball once, fumbled it, sat the rest of the game, it happens. He'll be fine. And are you a psychiatrist? You've studied his behaviors and traits and made a scientific conclusion, yes? Go outside. 1 Quote

But even the positive threads on here are so whacky; I think the winning has brought a lot of “different” posters out of the woodwork. 😃 Quote

I’m sorry that you live in such a delicate bubble that when somebody has something negative to say about the Bills that your bubble bursts. Grow up. It's not that you're saying anything negative that is getting all the hate. You're getting beat up mainly due to the first few words in your post "kind of smug and full of himself" What proof do you have of this? This isn't an opinion, this is just talking nonsense based on watching his facial expressions on TV! If you hadn't started out talking stupid, others may have had an intelligent conversation back and forth on the rest of the post. But you lost everyone in the first sentence. Thinking about this some more, you may be on to something as if anyone appears to know about being kind of smug and full of himself it probably is you based on your post. badassgixxer05 Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 Im not impressed with Cook yet. hes a rookie and has a lot of learning to do. people that thought he was going to be taking over for singletary by end of season will be sadly mistaken. Quote
