There were three college players running stride for stride with him in that clip. I don't think he can run away from NFL DBs. Watch it again. They were ahead of him and they took a good angle and caught him. If they were even with him Cook would have left them in the dust. And let's not forget that 90% of Alabamas defense goes to the pros. Not sure how they keep 3 next year , but that's worry for next year will be fun to watch how Dorsey integrates his skill set as the season progresses Go Bills 1 Quote

Roundybout Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 I thought Cook looked much better today and had a few nice plays. 2 2 Quote

He should have more than 2-3 good plays (vs about 5 bad ones). Every time he touches the ball I hold my breath, and not because he might do something good Quote

Joe Ferguson forever Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 looked better today but was fresh when everyone was gassed. I'm more optimistic tho. 1 Quote

Codyny13 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 He needs to get comfortable, god we have no patience 😂. He started to look better in the 2nd half. He needs reps, and time on task, I believe he’ll be a contributor the 2nd half of the season. 1 1 Quote

I just found out that it's supposed to be a Daredevil parody lol. The ooze is what blinds Murdock and Splinter is a twist on Stick. Quote

BigAl2526 Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Obviously, we need to see a lot more from Cook. Part of the problem today was the patchwork offensive line, but that excuse is going to wear thin pretty quickly. Quote

They might have taken some inspiration from the Daredevil comic but can't really be a parody if none of them are blind, also the comic was much darker not really a comedy. Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Hard to tell anything with blocking line that today. Quote

According to Eastman that's how it started. They wrote it as the origins being the same event and some of the characters are parodies. After the container hits Matt it then strikes a bystander holding a fish tank of turtles. Eastman and Laird talked about how crazy the premise was, but it worked/works. Quote

Yeah, that was an amazing stretch there. The fact that Josh was able to move those guys down the field (behind that line) was a minor miracle. Quote
