boyst Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 He had a few crappy plays so far. This isn't a good case for him with 2 series under his belt. 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 20, 2022 Author Posted September 20, 2022 I will happily eat some crow here, acknowledging Kumerow has shown much more than I anticipated from him. Still, I want to see 6WR over 3RBs no matter what, if all are healthy. Quote

For whatever reasonC that whole play was delayed, and he wasn’t lined up and ready for the snap. It wasn’t an effort or ability fail, so hard for me to pin it on him presnap. Quote

Yea the play looked ugly from the off but he definitely blew his assignment. 1 Quote

A good learning experience while Davis gets a week to rest his injury. But Shakir is not a good run blocker and needs to make more of an impact as a receiver. I think he has to put on a little more weight and practice his blocking so that he can be a more complete WR. 1 Quote
ngbills Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Preseason…means nothing. What preseason stuff has done jack? Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 I’m not worried. It wasn’t a good first showing, but he was turning heads all camp. It was his first NFL game and on primetime. Maybe nerves just had him a bit. Not everyone steps on the field the fist time and thrives. Allens first outing was not good. People want to analyze and determine players fate way too soon, it’s crazy. This kid is going to get more chances to show what he can do as the year goes on. So is Cook too 2 Quote
Dr.Sack Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 I thought Kumerow should have been the in-line blocker, why Shakir was the inside guy baffles the mind. The drop was bad, and reminded me of Knox rookie season. The game will eventually slow down and Shakir will have a chance to make plays. 2 Quote
Back2Buff Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Dude looks tiny and slow. Like I said during those training camp work outs, his feet speed is way too slow to be a good player in the NFL. Gonna have to improve that quickly. As soon as Stevenson is ready, Shakir can go to PS. 2 Quote

LabattBlue Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Damn…amazing how fast fans can turn on a player. Went from “needs to be active” to “he sucks” in the blink of an eye. 1 Quote
