The Titans had 46 offensive snaps vs the Giants last week and 21 of them were runs to Henry and he had one target in the passing game. 47.8% of the entire Titans' offense vs the Giants was Henry. There were only five runs to someone other than Henry last week. 2. This relates to point 1 above, the Bills' offense needs to get off to a fast start and put points on the board and force the ball out of Henry's hands and into Tannehill's. I don't think Tannehill can go toe to toe with Josh in a shoot out. That offense is not going to score more than 30 points against our defense. The Titans have to be hoping to keep Henry on the field chewing up clock and Allen sitting on the bench. The Bills can't let that happen. 3. The Titans' defense had 5 sacks and 8 QB hits on Daniel Jones last week. I think that our O-Line is more capable than the Giants, but keeping Josh upright is going to be vital to keep drives alive and put points on the board. This game goes one of two ways. Buffalo slows down Henry and scores TD --> lopsided victory. Buffalo has no answer for Henry, safeties and LBs cheat toward scrimmage and Tannehill starts working the pass game --> Josh has to single handedly win the game with some last minute heroics. 3 Quote

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Not quite breaking news Titans will be without leading sack artist Harold Landry vs. Bills Nick Wojton https://sports.yahoo.com/titans-without-leading-sack-artist-174556517.html Quote Week 2, Buffalo will host Tennessee in their home opener. One Titans player that will not be on the field is linebacker Harold Landry. 1 1 Quote

This Titans team isn't as good as the past few seasons. Obviously anything can happen but I would be shocked if the Bills lose this one. They had 4 turnovers vs the Rams and still won by 21. Have to think the Bills offense with a game under their belt won't be as careless with the ball. 1 Quote

Chicken Boo Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Health is the most concerning issue this season. The Bills can run with and will be favored against just about everyone. Quote

wjag Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 (edited) Early Titans thoughts on this one. 1. Dontrell Hilliard, RB2, led the team in TDs. Both his TDs were short throws, 7 yards and another that went for 23 yards. So watching him out of the backfield will be important. 2. Robert Woods only had one reception. I expect Tannehill to pay more attention to his wide receivers in this one. 3. Jeffrey Simmons is a beast. He had 2 sacks, one a strip sack where he cleanly beat three Giants. 4. Kyle Phillips, WR a 5th round pick led them with 6 catches for 66 yards. 5. Not sure what to make of the Giants gouging them on the ground. Barkley had a 9.1 yard average on 18 carries. 6. Treylon Burks had a nice 11 YAC average on is three catches. So I expect a lot of crossing routes for him. Edited September 13, 2022 by wjag 1 Quote
