Warriorspikes51 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 (edited) Last year Myles Garrett led league with 28% Pass Rush Win Rate. Last night Von Miller had a 48% Pass Rush Win Rate He looked like a DPOY caliber last night 2 Sacks, 3 TFL and very close to sacks on two other plays Multiple sacks of Tannehill please! Coastie Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 It was so nice having that kind of impact player on our defense. 19 more games like that please Von. 4 Quote

Yobogoya! Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Haven't seen pass-rush dominance like that since the first couple of Super Mario years. Granted the Rams line seems to be a mess, but that was just a clinic. Love to see it. 1 Quote
716er Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Miller was phenomenal. Epenesa also had a great game. He was 2nd on the team in pass rush win rate at 21%. His bull rush lead directly to Poyer’s INT. That play was all AJ and Poyer got the easy pick. 2 Quote

TheBrownBear Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Barring injury, I think we could see a 1995 Bryce Paup type year from Von. 2 1 Quote
Old Coot Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Lat night Von was wearing a black triangle on the back of his head. What's up with that? Quote
Rc2catch Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 He set the bar really high last night. Don’t expect him to maintain this level of play. Save that for the big games. The kids should be able to hold it down if they play like they did last night. 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Von looked amazing. He started right where he left off in the SB !! He was the missing piece to this SB puzzle. AJ Boogie and Groot all looked good too. I was a bit skeptical about the signing at this stage in his career but yesterday erased my concerns 1 Quote

Albanybillsbacker Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Will be interesting to see if him playing 60% of the snaps will lead to better stats for him. Sometimes more isn’t always better. 1 Quote

Just shut down their run game and the rest will fall into place. Just now, Albanybillsbacker said: Will be interesting to see if him playing 60% of the snaps will lead to better stats for him. I assume if he's out at all then lawson becomes active and they do the best they can with what they have. Quote

I did not even notice Epenesa but the number looks good. Of course it is hard to be noticed when Miller and Jordan Phillips are killing it so much. The rush rarely gets credit for the plays the others can make due to their production Edited September 9, 2022 by Buffalo Timmy 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Our whole DL played great, we got impact plays across the board. A lot, practically all, of the credit is going to just Von's presence, but that beefed up interior was a major game changer. Its much easier for the pass rush to get home when the DL dominates the LOS and doesn't let the run game get going and forces the opponent to throw more often. And that interior wasn't just slamming the door shut on the run game, it was wreaking havoc on the pass rush too, all without blitzes coming. This DL just through down a gauntlet, if it can keep even 80% of how it played up the whole season, its going to be historically good. Quote
