YoloinOhio Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Elam gonna be a star. *prays to the health gods* Quote
H2o Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) Elam is gonna be a good player, and Benford as well. We hit on both of our CB's in the draft it seems. Edited September 26, 2022 by H2o Quote
ArtVandalay Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Until we get a RB he'll be measured against Breece Hall. Too soon to be nervous about him though. Give these kids some time. Quote
L Ron Burgundy Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 How'd Revis I mean Elam play this week? I didn't catch much. 2 Quote

billsfan89 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Elam is a stud he will be a star in the secondary for years to come. Quote

John from Riverside Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 For all of the stuff Elam gets on the board the fact of the matter is is he has played very well especially for a rookie who would’ve thought at the beginning of the season that he would actually be the last man standing right now Quote

The good news is he has got better each game so far. There will still be bumps in the road. He will give up some plays, he is a rookie corner and they all do. But in a difficult spot with defensive backs dropping like flies around him he is trending up. Well done rook. 4 Quote

Hall would be wasted and probably no, or marginally, better than Singletary. 1 1 Quote
HopelessNJBuffaloFan Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Elam looks good so far. He has definitely taken advantage of this opportunity and should ease the secondary pain a bit. Bedford looks good too. He can still play with a fractured hand and should not effect his play too much. Now on our O and D lines......... 😱 Quote

Give these kids some time. I feel pretty darn good about that measurement already. A running back with 112 rushing yards through 3 games does not = a starting cornerback. I think Hall is a solid player but you never prioritise starting running back over starting corner. Never. He would have to be an elite running back and Elam a kind of Levi Wallace borderline starter for Hall to win that measuring competition. Quote

Yeah but Hall didn’t give up any catches in coverage this week, so clearly he’s been the better player so far 😉 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 He’s a rookie who just went against the fastest two receivers in the nfl. Next to quarterback, cornerback is the hardest position in the nfl to play. Grab 2 friends, play cb, have them run a pass route, and you can’t touch them after 5 yards. Now imagine if one of them runs a 4.3. 2 Quote
