He was just so friggin far ahead before tonight's game he allowed the rest of the pack to catch up a little. As a tangent, I find posts like this humorous, don't you? Except this excludes rushing... kinda matters here. Josh 7407 yards Burrow 6956 yards Josh 322 YPG Burrow 302 YPG Josh 61 TDs Burrow 54 TDs It also excludes the bills being through the meat of their schedule this year…we have some blowouts of bad teams incoming. 1 Quote

There is also other factors with these two QB's and the voting. Josh Allen has had two games where he played so well he didn’t even play in the fourth quarter the people that vote for MVP are not as stupid as you’re making them out to be Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) He fell back in the MVP race. Still in the lead but his lead got tighter. Edited October 31, 2022 by Buffalo_Stampede 4 Quote
zow2 Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Josh is so much better when he runs, and he turned down some 3rd down scrambles and other runs last night to save on contact. I certainly don't mind. We all need this man to be healthy for the playoffs.. but a few drives would have been kept alive had he run more. 2 Quote

Our next 2 games are against teams a combined 11-4 …….the first 7 games gauntlet is actually 9 😎 Quote

Buffalo Ballin Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Josh Allen next game: 5 Touchdowns, zero INT vs New York Jets. Quote

The Jets are gonna be tough to rack up the score on. Think they are 6th in yards and 11th in points. They are a good defense this year. Quinnen Williams is having his best year as a pro, CJ Mosley is finally the guy they paid for, Carl Lawson is active off the edge and not unlike the Bills the edge rushers come at you in waves with rotational guys who can make plays. They also have a totally overhauled secondary with Joyner and Whitehead at safety and DJ Reed and Sauce at corner. Their defense is legit. Luckily their offense remains a bit of a mess and their QB self destructs. Quote
billsfan89 Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Josh had an ass game today, no way around it, he was able to turn to his legs for some offense but the passing and conventional running game was just bad. This team has to figure some things out offensively 1 Quote
VaMilBill Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Josh should not be a front runner anymore. 6 quarters of terrible play that lost us a game and kept another mediocre team in the game. Way too inconsistent. Quote
ToGoGo Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Most MVPs have a couple stinkers. Allen still had 2 TDs. End the season on a high note and it's his, despite what some emotional fans might say this week. Quote
Dr.Sack Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Allen has thrown 9 picks in 8 games. Say what you want but that is not MVP caliber play. 1 Quote
Awwufelloff Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Any reason he always rolls out to right vs left? The Jets knew he was going to roll right and predicted it many times causing issues with throwing. He's becoming a little predictable. Quote
Big Turk Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 He is going to really have to step it up over the last half of the year because he hasn't looked good for 6 quarters. Quote
GunnerBill Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 And this thread bites the dust for another year. Quote
