NFL Week #1 - Bills at the Rams - Post Game thread- The NFL season Begins!!!!!!

Biggest shocker of the game for me: Jordan Phillips' performance.

I don't know what it is about this system but the man excels in it.

The Bills looked like a dominate force. I was surprised at how polished they looked (minus the roleplayers flukey interceptions and the fumbles).  Allen made it look easy, fitting balls into windows that most QBs wouldn't even attempt.

If you had told me 24 hours ago that Buffalo would have four turnovers and the score would be 31-10, I would have assume that the Rams would them out.   It is amazing that Buffalo dominated the defending superbowl champs on the road despite the early mistakes.

I really like Rich Eisen.  Mostly because he is a long suffering fan of a team.  I can relate.

THIS is after the KC loss in January, but it AGES well.

And last night, this was prescient.  He speaks the truth..  Get past the hurt of the 13 seconds and just listen to what he says.

Kumerow playing 14 offensive snaps, while Shakir is inactive and we dress 6 linebackers.

Kumerow should never play on offense outside of an injury.

Makes zero sense.

You're still talking about the six linebacker's? Get over it.

not surprised at all with Davis’ snap count. He will pretty much stay on the field all year even in the single wr sets.

i was surprised he only got 5 targets though. But as is usual with him he made the most of those 5 targets catching 4 of them for a 22 yard average and a TD.

Did you happen to watch our special teams last night?  If it’s not broken, don’t fix it

It seems quite sensible to me

Next to Von Miller, Phillips was the best offseason acquisition with Safford a close third. On passing situations, Von and Jordan must be on the field together. Phillips brings that pressure from the interior that the Bills have been missing since Ted Washington

Ya I just feel better then McKenzie back there - he seemed calm and decisive with his fair catches 😂🤣 McKenzie just seems spazzy which I like more on gadget plays and crossing routes

Was interesting seeing Kumerow out there as often as he was. And not sure what their plan is for Shakir. Feel like he looked too good to keep off the field. But we are so loaded at the receiver position and still really do need Kumerow on special teams.

I’m wondering if we move forward giving Crowder some vet rest weeks off and switching Crowder and Shakir on and off the inactive list.

Jamison Crowder anybody? He found those seams last night at crucial moments twice as I recall.

Needs to come back to the ball the way Beasley did. That one INTO from Josh could've been negated if Crowder came back to the ball
