We are the opening game in prime time on Thursday night.  after 30 years of counting on our games being at 1:00 on Sunday, I'm not sure how my rituals mesh with that🤣

My game day ritual of sitting in my living room watching the Bills kick ass will be totally disrupted i will be working driving across country but the wife will be recording the game so i can rematch it when i get home but that's just not the same .

 

I told my guys on the bus if there are a couple of quick jerks in the steering wheel after a TD think nothing of it 😜 but if you happen to see a tour bus going by & the Bills score a TD & you here the air horn going off that could very well be me ...

My team, York City. Level 5 of English soccer. The same division as Wrexham is you’ve seen/heard the media hoo-ha about them?

 

We drew 1-1 against Oldham (who became the first club to play in the 5th level having also played in the Premier League. A crowd of just under 7,000 was our largest for many a year. The atmosphere was great.

I did put out my Bills flag this morning before work, but the rest of my rituals will have to take place this evening as most of them involve the use of certain substances.

So bottom line, your traditions must be followed……….Patting your kid on the head 17 times, running outside with nothing but Bills boxers and drinking a beer, 3 shots in the shower before the game….whatever it is, DO it! Just DO IT!!!

 

Ok, We have a long day tomorrow, so get some rest. But be ready to do you part!!

I messed this up last year and decided to be “social” and enjoy the Steelers opener at a sports bar with friends. What a colossal mistake. 
 

So, I will be back to watching the game in near solitude, mostly standing and pacing, or on my knees, with my family looking alarmingly at me.

Pretty easy for me. All I did for game days was avoid getting into a fight with my wife because she would B word at me the whole game. 

 

So I got divorced. 😁
