If this guy was "Ultra MAGA" wooooooo boy:

Las Vegas police arrested a county official Wednesday evening on suspicion of murder in the death of a reporter he had previously accused of conducting a “smear” campaign against him, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The arrest of Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles, a 45-year-old Democrat who oversees the securing of estates of people who’ve died, followed an hourlong standoff after Telles barricaded himself in his home. It also came hours after police first carried out a search warrant at Telles’ home and nearly a week after Review-Journal investigative reporter Jeff German was found dead outside his own home on Friday.

The FBI will leak evidence to the Washington Post that the killer is in reality leader of the local chapter of super secret double-ultra MAGA and all the useful idiots will run with the "threat to democracy" story.   While satire its also sadly close to the degraded state of how things operate.

Wow - so this is what it has come to, eh?

Rock bottom

you don’t see the hilarity in them blaming trump for a democrat who murdered a journalist?  That none of the news stories cover him as a democrat only refer to him as a local politician? Strange right?

Since you mention the Wash Post tagline, here's their coverage:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/slain-las-vegas-reporter-spent-career-chasing-corruption/2022/09/09/4b4283c0-2ff6-11ed-bcc6-0874b26ae296_story.html

In the weeks before the June primary, German bylined reports about an office “mired in turmoil and internal dissension” between longtime employees and new hires under Telles’ leadership. Following the stories, county officials hired a consultant to help oversee the office.

Telles blamed “old-timers” for exaggerating the extent of his relationship with a female staffer and falsely claiming that he mistreated them. He posted complaints on Twitter about German, saying he was a bully who was “obsessed” with him.

Telles ended up finishing last in the three-way primary and was serving out the remainder of his term at the time of the killing.

The articles “ruined his political career, likely his marriage, and this was him lashing out at the cause,” Chief Deputy Clark County District Attorney Richard Scow said Thursday.

Why did I bother to check? Well, because this is what happens why social media junkies like Big Blitz depend solely on those insta-comment/hot take twitter feeds for their news. The Wash Post and all other media outlets covered this story, covered it well, and continue to cover it.

And you missed his point entirely. If this politician was a Republican, that label would be included in every single headline.

In the article you linked you had to read nearly to the end to find mention that he is a democrat in this context.

Telles, a Democrat who apparently had never served in public office until he was elected in 2018, oversaw less than 10 people and was paid about $120,000 a year to run an office that deals with estates and the property of people after they die. Before that he was a lawyer practicing probate and estate law.

Well, thank God we have Big Mollie to set the record straight. Completely local official in Las Vegas who nobody ever heard of outside of Las Vegas MUST BE LABELED A DEMOCRAT! Otherwise we might think he was a Republican doing some kind of Jan 6 inspired targeted killing.

The persecution complex among Trumpies is getting absurd. This got tons of coverage, it had nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with a corrupt local official, exposed by a good journalist, taking revenge.

LOL.

Don't hurt your heels stamping your feet so hard.

"Big Mollie" is Mollie Hemingway a nationally respected author whose explanation about the reporter who blamed Trump was the point that you missed.

Omg......that is political!   He had him killed because he didn't like how he was being covered - he was being "politically smeared."

And the point remains - the headlines have all been "Politician" arrested.
