JoeF Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Trying to pass the time for the next 48 hours - I started paging through the Bills all time team and individual records at this site: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/index.htm Some team and individual records I could see falling this year: 57 sack season record from 2013 is in danger (16 game season asterisk) 727 yards receiving by a tight end (16 game season asterisk) 4407 passing yards in a season (Josh breaks his own record with a 16 game season asterisk) 36 Interceptions in season (set in a 14 game season in 1962) These would be my top 4 from looking at the team and individual records. Curious if anyone else had a record or two they think this year's team or an individual could challenge. Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Nice topic Joe!!! - Allen’s 37 passing TDs - Allen’s 284 YPG (similar to your passing yards stat) - Bass longest FG in franchise history (don’t know the number but it is in jeopardy) - Bass 141 points in a season - MAYBE Bill Brooks 11 TD receptions is in jeopardy 2 Quote
Dr.Sack Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Largest point differential. Set by ‘21 Bills. Least amount of losses: 2. Set by ‘64 championship team. *14 games. Points against 154. Set by ‘82 Bills. *9 games strike year. 23 TDs total by one player. Set by OJ in ‘75. 11 TDs receiving. Set by Bill Brooks ‘95. 2 Quote

Dr. Sack, I love the points against one. That is awesome. 1 Quote

Would sure like to see that record fall - and hopefully by a lot. Quote

Gabe Davis is a good bet. I like Knox for TE yards record too, mentioned by OP 1 Quote

I think the least amount of punts (41) record gets snapped (set 2 years ago…I believe we will definitely at least do it for the first 16 game span) Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Knox first Bills' TE to ever go to a ProBowl Knox will break TE yards I could see the WR TD mark being surpassed as well. 2 Quote

Next closest to OJ was Cookie Gilchrist with 15. Both OJ and Cookie did so in only 14 games! Can't see OJ's 1975 record ever being broken. Edited September 7, 2022 by freddyjj Quote

TE one, maybe. Edited September 7, 2022 by QCity Quote

Gabe Davis could easily break it in an expanded role. Heck, he had 5 in two playoff games last year. Quote

mushypeaches Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 We're never coming close to the team INT record... Those records all come from days when QB's commonly had more INT's than TD's on the season. It's an entirely different game now Quote

At least not in today's passing first league. Quote

The Bills have too many good skill position players, the ball is going to get spread around a lot. Quote
