ESPN+ article where they predict the QB rating of each passer every week.

Allen is predicted to have a better passer rating than his opposing QB in all but these 4 games:

vs Stafford (a predicted loss for Bills)

vs Rodgers (predicted win for Bills)

vs Burrow (loss)

vs Jones week 18 (loss because game meaningless to Bills)

So better rating than Mahomes and Jackson in wins over KC and Baltimore.

In the process they project a 14-3 record.

So they lose the first game and go 14-2 the rest of the way? Jeez that would be quite the season if so

I mean, I wouldn't mind it. 😆

How about only TWO 300 yard passing games from ALL QBs for the season?  No 4 TD games and none under 200 yards.

Utter rubbish even if it is simulated.  How does that even count for journalism?  Must be nice to click a button, copy/paste, and collect a paycheck.

Simulations are usually pretty bad but reading that made me feel like I was in a simulation, of stupidity. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Well other than those in Boston.

I won't be shocked if the Bills lose to the Rams and then win 15 in a row.  They wrap up the #1 seed and then drop the last two games.  Not likely, but definitely plausible.

1. Do you pay for that 💩 ?

2. ESPN is clueless

BTW . Stats don’t win games

Per this:

Bills 14-3 (lose Rams & Bengals) + Pats season ender

Josh

QBR: 94.84

Yards: 4066

TD's: 36

Opponents:

QBR: 84.8

Yards: 3878

TD's: 23

I don't know how they disguise this as actual analysis.  It's like a compressed bell curve where every performance is as close to the median as possible with very few outliers?  Sorry, that's not how actual games play out.

Very freaking lazy on ESPN's part

how hard would it be to have a higher QB rating than Lamar Jackson?

Josh would have had 2 straight PERFECT games.

but somehow a short TD and some kneeling lowered his RAT

😳

Tuh Rod had great stats too  😂

Not sure if the page is ever changing but I get Josh with 4352 yds and 43 TDs.  Even doing the one you posted unless I'm wrong I get him with 4334 yds and 38 TDs.  But with that being said to say he will not have 1 300 yd passing game when he had 6 last year is insane

So Josh Allen isn't going to have any 300-yard passing games.  That's cute.

that wouldn’t be very surprising at all, actually

That would be the greatest winning percentage in the history of our franchise. A franchise that had 4 back to back super bowl teams, multiple hall of famers, and a league MVP. So it would be a little surprising yes

I don't think these are actual game predictions, they mention they are predicting the lines for QB stats for each game (in which case I think it's right, its very rare for those to be at 300 yds or above)
