As others have said, amongst starters, Poyer and Saffold are likely gone after this season. As will be depth/stop gap players like Van Roten and Quessenberry.

Older vets at ST/P specialists and backup QB are often older and don’t matter in the calculation.

The only notable returning players 30+ next year will be Hyde, Miller and probably Morse.

Johnson is a FA though. Hopefully he is a cheap re-sign for say $3m AAV?

I'm sure he wants his chance to be a starter.  If the Bills do extend Poyer, then I'd expect him to test the market.

Every year with Josh expectations will be playoffs

This season is the end of an era though. McDermott and Frazier have had a nice run on defense with little change. We’re going to see 2-3 major roster changes next year on defense. Edmunds and Poyer gone. Maybe others. Both replaced with inexpensive contracts.

Any non playoff years will be based on the division honestly. 3 teams are in rebuilds. If those rebuilds fail the Bills will have a major advantage every year. Similar to NE with Brady.

KC’s problem is yes the talent is less, but the teams in their division are better.

I agree, the Safety tandem is getting to the backend of their primes.

And we're still scabbing our way at RT, Morse is getting older at Center, and I agree that Edmunds coming back seems like a long shot.
