The more important stats are hard(er) to find - how many punts into the EZ vs pinned inside the 20 or inside the 10? He's capable of the occasional 68, 69 yarder. The occasional boomer is important but actually, directional punting and the ability to pin the opponent deep matter too - as does avoiding blocks and shanks. He was a dual-purpose kicker in Detroit - kicked off as well as punted, so he may offer some positional flexibility which the Bills always love. Yeah but how many shank kicks has he had. Thats honestly the one thing I cant stand about punts. Last two guys seemed to have those at the worst times. Quote

He was making 2.35 in Denver and they wanted him to take a pay cut. My guess is that he wants something close to that from the Bills and they are offering less due to cap constraints. Quote

Though, as said earlier (on another thread?) would Martin have travelled to Buffalo without knowing we'd meet the lowest offer he'd accept? 1 Quote

If he had 1 million guranteed then he will still get a pay check from Denver. And if thats the case we only have to make up the difference and pay 1.35 million. Quote
