NewEra Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 That’s a helluva PS. Mccloud would’ve been the cherry on top! 2 3 2 Quote
Philo Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Nick McCloud and Kingsley Jonathan would've been there for sure, so I'd expect another DB and DE added. I believe the max is 16? Maybe another OL or DB for the last spot? 1 Quote
Bigvinny Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 Our practice squad QB is better than the Seahawks starter. 1 Quote

For example, the Jets had seven players picked off waivers today and 11 players over th3 last two weeks. That's two more than the Bills have in two years in just in two weeks. I would say it's pretty good given the strength of the Bills roster. Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 But wait - I thought there was "no way" we'd be able to get Isaiah Hodgins and Raheem Blackshear on the Practice Squad? 😆 1 2 Quote
Forlorn hope Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 My guess is Josh Thomas, Olijah Griffin and Jacob Capra fill the last 3 spots. Capra played hs football with Doyle and can play all 5 oline positions in an emergency All 3 know the system too Quote
Process Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 That's a hell of a practice squad, holy cow. Having vets like Austin and Duke sticking around is great. 1 Quote
Forlorn hope Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 I believe Capra was activated for the road pats game last year Quote

Bills used this pick on Christian Benford. Panthers released him yesterday. Claimed by Seahawks. - released G Jack Anderson. Signed to Bills PS. Eagles grabbed him. Eagles released him yesterday. Claimed by Giants - released Rachad Wildgoose. Signed to Bills PS. Jets grabbed him. Jets released him yesterday. Claimed by Washington - traded G Cody Ford to Arizona for 2023 5th rd pick. - released TE OJ Howard. Looks like he's signing with Bengals - released DB Nick McCloud. Claimed by Giants - released OT Luke Tenuta. Claimed by Indy - released OL Tanner Owen. Claimed by Saints - released DE Kingsley Jonathan. Claimed by Bears Just crazy the number of players who can't make Bills roster but end up somewhere else. You forgot Haak. On Colts. 52 minutes ago, ColoradoBills said: McCloud was someone I thought would make the 53 yesterday. Sad to see him go. Keeping Love over Jonathan is a wash. Tanner Owen was not impressive from what I seen. Same with Tenuta. Like I said in my earlier post, Beane needs to look for TEs, DBs and OL only for the PS. I liked McCloud as well but it was probably him or Cam Lewis, no? Id rather have Cam Lewis. Quote

PirateHookerMD Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 (edited) We essentially traded Tenuta for this guy, I like him better as a developmental guy on the PS: https://www.si.com/nfl/colts/film/udfa-profile-ryan-van-demark Edited August 31, 2022 by PirateHookerMD 3 3 Quote

I believe he attended University with Greg Van Roten back in... Denmark or Lichtenstein or one of those places. They played rugby together or something. That must be why he chose the Bills. 2 Quote
