Was wondering if there is some GM gamemanship on when deciding what time to release a player? Some guys get released early in the day and their 24 hour clock starts and some guys are released at the 4pm deadline when the tidal wave of releases occur.  Their 24 clock starts later.  Or must all last day waiver wires wait until 4p next day regardless of when they were released on the final cut down day before teams can add them to PS or sign them to active roster?

It's the full day of cuts.  Some GMs try to cut a guy a day earlier to sneak him through while everyone is busy on cutdown day.

They were mad about losing Wildgoose. But he didn’t make a terrible Jets secondary. We’ll see.

That's because the Jets, are the Jets.

If we bring Wildgoose back, McDermott will show the Jets how you coach up a defensive back.

Wildgoose was so wildly overmatched physically in every single facet of the game, there is not a coach on this planet that could turn him into a viable NFL DB.

Tenuta (Colts), McCloud (Giants), Owen (Saints), and Kingsley (Bears) were claimed off waivers.

After one season of play?

Maybe he's not future starting material, but he could become a decent back-up. Some players need more time.

Lots of former Bills littering that list.

This front office must be doing something right - for all the complaining some people do.
