Is this a thread to update who is signed to the practice squad? Or just a thread to name cut players they said they were going to try and bring back?

Could be used for both. 

Blackshear, Gentry, Hodgins, Barkley are the Twitter speculation I can recall.

It is my understanding unless things changed that Vets (4 yrs + in the league) are not subject to the waiver system.

 

So Barkley and Duke etc are free to sign back here or elsewhere if they wish, roster or PS.

Barkley is 100% going to be there.  Who knows, Davis Webb may join him.

 

I’d like to see Duke Johnson brought back.  He looked good to me in preseason.  Blackshear also.

 

Figure that several of the O-linemen will come back.

Eagles cut G Jack Anderson, former Bills 2021 7th rd pick.  He was on Bills practice squad last year when Eagles acquired him.

That is a safe bet, assume Eagles don’t add him to theirs. 

Bills could add Anderson and Wildgoose lol

It's weird how the day after roster cutdowns feels like Christmas morning.  I'm all excited to see if we can hang on to McCloud, Hodgins, and a few other guys, but I also know that we have big problems if any of those guys are playing significant snaps for us during the season.

They were mad about losing Wildgoose. But he didn’t make a terrible Jets secondary. We’ll see.

Some players need development time and the Bills are pretty good at bringing guys along.  Morris, Gilliam, Lewis, Dodson, and Bates were all UDFAs.

McCloud, Bryant and Hodgins are the ones who I think may get plucked.  Duke Johnson may get signed.

 

I know there is more.  I just think the above have a better chance.

It seems other C/TE/G/WR and DBs may be looked for outside the team.

One thing for sure, after the initial PS signing, we know they get churned quite a bit.
