Bills cuts

I still think he comes back after all the moves are done. I think it's just roster shuffling with injuries.

Hmm, but if they wanted to keep him, they wouldn't cut him. He has 350K dead money. If he is out for a month but you want him, you cut Kumerow after mutual agreement, roster Mancz, IR Mancz and resign Kumerow with couple extra bucks. Doesn't make sense to me.

Injury issues.

I think Beane specificaly said its nothing major with Mancz. I guess we will know by tomorrow.

Only notable in that it was a junk pick the moment it was announced. The guy can’t move. And he couldn’t move on his tape either. But hey he’s tall!

A 7th rounder being a junk pick?  That's news.

Luke Tenuta marks the 7th cut in 5 Beane drafts to not make the team (If you count Teller). It's a late pick so not exactly a big deal, but it's interesting.

With this deep of a roster, those picks should have been traded away for a higher round pick next year.  Oh well.  Pretty sure every team cuts at least one or more of their draft picks.  After round 5 I would say the difference between UDFA and draft pick is negligible.

The top image shows multiple slot receivers. The bottom image doesn’t as there is no receiver outside of Diggs to create a slot. Lining up tighter vs. wider doesn’t define a slot.

Fair enough, the point I'm trying to make between the use of multiple slot, bunch and tight sets, the skill set usually needed to play slot wr i.e. quick and shifty vs 'outside' wr is utilized more often in out offense. Diggs has the skillet for both positions, but he's not the prototype 6' 4" 225lbs "outside" receiver. Davis is more prototype for outside.

But the Bills value the route running and quickness needed to play slot more than the size and strength of outside receivers, and imo you see that reflected in the styles of routes and formations.

Not gonna lie the oj howard pickup bothers me

thats a bit of coin just to cut

Gotta give them credit for not keeping him just because they paid him…going with the guys who earned it.

Agreed. I asked about this couple posts earlier. Doesn't make sense based on everything we heard during camp. Backup center, looked like lock, injury was supposed to be minor. Really curious what is going on.

They may just be playing the system and his minor injury ‘fit the requirements” for sleight of hand.

We should know fairly soon.
