McKenzie will do ok.  He always has a chance to break a big return off.

His problem on punts is he gets antsy around traffic.

Hodgins, for example, was trying to make the team as the 4th or 5th  6th wideout. His value is primarily offense. But you have to contribute to ST to make it as a skill position player that far down the depth chart.

 

FIFY.  Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, Crowder, Shakir ahead of him.  Can argue about whether the order is Shakir, Crowder or Crowder, Shakier, either way Hodgins was competing with Kumerow for #6.  And McKenzie/Shakir have important ST roles as returners.

My guess is that they'll IR him after the 53 man roster is set, so that he's eligible to return.

Probably cut Taiwan Jones, carry Stevenson on the 53-man, then IR Stevenson and re-sign Jones.
