He’s got little use as running back and Beane continues to talk about versatility, can’t figure out why he’s still here He's extremely tough, fast and a captain He's also able to return kicks and play all sptms He can play rb, wr and slot wr in a pinch. He has also play cb in an emergency. He did for one year with the raiders. He also runs 4.33 He's basically one of the best special teams players in the NFL 1 1 1 3 Quote

Step 1) ask prospective players & employees to take off their shoes Step 2) pour gas station nacho cheese sauce on their feet Step 3) large inhale through the nose, then decide their fate. That legendary process is responsible for about... 1.7% of the team's overall success today, so don't ever forget what Rex Ryan did for you! 1 Quote

I think that’s incorrect. Do you agree GB? Or do you think that multiple teams were in position to win the SB with the rosters they had, but just didn’t get it done for various reasons? You very obviously have a point here. If you could play the postseason scenario out 1000 times would the Rams win the Superbowl every time, of course not. Maybe they would win with the highest frequency, maybe not. Winning the Superbowl does not prove you are the best team. Again: winning the Superbowl does not prove you are the best team. It is a combination of skill and luck. GunnerBill thinks like a coach and their job is to disregard luck because there's no value in thinking about that. Good coaches and players focus all their energy on the parts of it that are in their control. 1 1 Quote

His one play against the Bills in the playoff game was his best RB play in like 6-7 years. He's great for the team at what he does. 3 Quote

Sports fans haven't changed, it's just that we have the ability to make asses out of ourselves (semi) publicly now. I'm sure if there were messages boards back in the 1925 the Yankees' board would have had a 100+ page thread on Wally Pipp vs Lou Gehrig. Edited August 30, 2022 by FrenchConnection Typo 1 2 1 Quote

We don’t. That’s one of my biggest issues doesn’t work like that. If you’re a premier special team player your ability on offense (or defense) is just a bonus. Jones is, without a doubt, a premier special team player. Case closed. Hodgins, for example, was trying to make the team as the 4th or 5th wideout. His value is primarily offense. But you have to contribute to ST to make it as a skill position player that far down the depth chart. 1 1 Quote
Scott7975 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I hope Hodgins can make it to our PS. Blackshear too. I thought maybe they could get Blackshear in as the KR. I thought he did a pretty good job there but they probably have other guys that can do that too. Quote
