Barkley sample size is so small that all this actually tells you in reality is that Keenum has gotten opportunities that Barkley has not

If Barkley was good enough, hed get opportunities and he would do something with them.

Many times opportunities simply come down to people in front of you on the depth chart getting hurt.

For example, Keenum was 3rd string in Houston and only played due to Schaub getting injured.

Then he went to St. louis and was cut.

Then he went back to Houston and only played because Fitzpatrick broke his leg.

Then in Minnesota he only played because Sam Bradford got hurt.

Noticing a trend?

I’m looking at his time with the Bills. I don’t care what he did over his career with other teams. As a back up he’s been solid here. That’s all you can ask for.

No, you clearly are not looking at his time with the Bills.

He has been terrible with Buffalo.   Like a 50% passer 1 TD and 4 INT in 2019 and 2020.........including the loss at home to Pats in 2019 when the Bills had them on the ropes before Allen got concussed.    There was no chance whatsoever once Barkley came in.   Just can't make many NFL throws and then has little athleticism to be of any use otherwise.    Gets nice air under his deep ball but that's it.

I do see the difference. Barkley outplayed Keenum this pre-season. That’s a difference.

Respectfully, I disagree.  I think Bakley is an easy cut. Love the guy, he’s not the second best QB on this roster and it’s not close IMO

Ok we can disagree.

Just because he doesn't have top tier athleticism doesn't mean he can't be successful.

It doesn’t , but the chances are less. Many plays are a struggle for him to execute. It’s a no brainer between him and Keenum.
