He ranks pretty high in punts placed inside the 20. That, to me, is more important than a boomer (though he can punt far, as well). 

 

It really changes the game when you can pin opponents deep, consistently.

How often is it it 4th and long in opponent territory? Is that rare scenario worth using a roster spot on a punter with a weaker-than-average leg?

Sam Martin is best available. He was a nice little suprise to be let go. I wanted Kern but Martin is 4 years younger and has a stronger leg.
