I think Hodgins is going to make it.

3 rec for 13 yards.  He is averaging under 9 yards per catch over 3 preseason games despite leading the team in targets and receptions.

I am rooting for the kid, but you won't make a team averaging under 9 yards per catch as a backup WR unless you can prove you can contribute on ST.

Johnson back in the game after TBD declared his career over.  Ya'll need to cool out with the hot takes 🤣

Took a heck of a hit on the knee and it looked like his foot stayed planted.

I have no idea how Hodgins is catching these.

blackshear trucks a LB

I know that was like "whoaoa"! and Smith doesn't even mention it

Hodgins and Blackshear making their case

Morris and Gentry arrow down

Yeah, it’s bizarre. He’s obviously not a starter, but I thought he was a little better than a one-read guy. Keenum is a veteran, he looks like a rookie third stringer trying to make the roster. I don’t expect huge results from any backup, it’s more the issues you’ve pointed out which confuse me.

Tasker alluded that it might be by design since it’s Buffalo’s waterboys vs their starters for a half.

How many snaps did he have with Allen?

except that Steve Smith is still ball washing about how great and important all these guys are to them?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are the 1s

Tasker is now painful to listen to.  Never has so little been said with so many words.

He's still better than the Carolina commentators.

I thought he started talking about them being the guys behind the ones from before but I'm mostly tuning him out.

Those were some impressive catches by Hodgins

Is he getting any separation?
