I think outright cut is bad because he’s fully guaranteed this year for about 3m?. Trading rids salary but 1.5m bonus will need to be spread over next 2 years.

Sweeney is better than you give him credit for.  Coaches have been talking him up, how smart he is, how hard worker, how improved.  Howard has done nothing to  win spot over Sweeney or Morris.  And Sweeney and Morris play special teams
