That it has been almost 11 months without charge is telling. This could up pressure during an election year now to charge him. But that's because America is one messed up country that has lost its way... I digress.

Regardless, 10 months without an indictment to charge is very powerful.

It's telling of nothing except the breadth of our ignorance as a country as to how mishandled sex crimes are int his country. 11 months is nothing for this sort of case - many go years or are never resolved.

Show me where Arazia admitted raping the girl on tape.  You're talking out of your ass again.  Learn to read.

You have access to the lawsuit. I'm not going to read to you like you're a toddler.

10 months without charges could mean two things. The police did a theo

If you're going to say the police didn't do much to investigate this in the #metoo and #believeallwomen campaign we are in while this happened in San Diego, in the state of California..... It's career suicide and stupid.

This case was primed for major national attention. A Police Chief and DA are not that foolish.

The lawsuit was from the attorney, who has time and time again proven to be a loose cannon and unprofessional at every turn. If you want to believe him, then maybe you should move to California and stare at all the porn stars he follows.

But it’s a lawsuit. They can literally claim you were there if they chose to add that. It doesn’t make it false but it isn’t fact either

Araiza, of course, didn't file the lawsuit so nothing in it would constitute an admission by him.

Once again a female forgoing CRIMINAL litigation (let’s start actually holding criminals accountable and put them in prison) for the CIVIL litigation for some cash.

each time this happens it hurts future victims of this type of crime to pursue the criminal side of it.

this post is not in defense or not for a Punter.

They never said they were forgoing anything. It appears law enforcement have dragged their feet on this. Araiza may still be charged criminally.

Have to believe civil suit was filed to bring attention to this matter and due to the fact there were time constraints in doing so.

I know a whole lot more about this than the average guppy. I can only tell you that you're wrong. I'll. Leave it at that.

I accidentally hit reply before I finished.

And I wouldn't be too sure about how foolish the SDPD may or may not be.
