I know for a fact I wouldn’t want to work with a company/organization that handles hard times differently based on who you are/what you do. Fortunately, the Bills are not such an organization.

I'm not defending him. I'm defending truth and justice. We have a legal process for a reason. This isn't the wild west.

 

Hear, hear. It sounds bad. The evidence that is out there does not look good for him. But the rush to let the court of public opinion decide is, as I have argued elsewhere, dangerous for us as a society. I hope the process plays out and if indeed it is as it seems then may Araiza face the full consequences both civil and criminal.

I don't think it's known when he found out he had the STD.  He may not have known.  It is one of many pieces of info out there that has not been addressed or explained.

We don't need some moron punter distracting a team, a city, an owner, and a fanbase that could really use a good news run at our first World Championship.

 

My guess is he will thankfully be cut by the Bills or suspended by the NFL before week 1.  No way the team and league allow a punter to distract from opening night of NFL Season.

I don't know why this is so hard for people to accept. The mob justice urge will never die, it seems.

This is so much bigger than a "distraction" or an inconvenience to your favorite football team. You do what's right regardless of how inconvenient it is. It's not right to fire someone without the facts first.

Bud, you’re like 10 posts deep and they’re all in this thread. I think YOU need a distraction. Let’s trust the Bills on this and wait until we actually hear from them before making them cut someone. Her earrings, nose ring, and bellybutton ring were all ripped out.

It definitely doesn't sound like a made up story to me. Her father notified the University police by phone who filed no report and later said that the dad notifying them by phone was not the same as making a report. SDSU was undefeated and ranked at the time and are being accused of trying to sweep it under the rug. The story of the gang rape was known on campus and several athletes of various sports complained to the Univ wanting to know why nothing was being done about it. 

She is accusing Araiza of leading her to a bedroom and throwing her face down on the bed to be violently gang raped. She also suspects that a drink he had given her was drugged. 

 

 Why the Bills would want to be at the center of this for a punter is beyond me.
