They must be satisfied by what they see in practice. We know he's got the holding thing down... I really wanted to see what he could do with hangtime and pinning opponents inside the 20 on a shorter field... But lets face it, we were all in on the anyone but Haack movement. Well. It will be interesting to see how Araiza does on coffin corner attempts and on windy days. I’ll say one thing, if you’re offense is stuck deep in their own end, it’ll be great to have a guy with that leg, even if he does kick in into the opposite end zone. 1 Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Tavon Austin. What a disappointment of a career. I still think apart from Reggie Bush, he has the most impressive & electrifying college highlight reel. I thought the guy would be the next Dante Hall. Welp, at least he salvaged a 9 year NFL career out of it which is honestly impressive for anyone regardless of statistics. Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 With Stevenson hurt and Now Austin cut, that means no KR only specialist being kept at WR is likely happening. That is the best case scenario for Hodgins in his quest to make the final 53 that an extra roster spot at WR not going to a returner. Still not a lock, but that definitely improves his chances. Quote

hondo in seattle Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 I wasn't excited when we signed Haack and am not surprised he's gone. I thought Austin, though, had a chance. Quote
H2o Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Haack will now end up in Indy after their punter tore his achilles. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/08/23/colts-punter-rigoberto-sanchez-suffered-apparent-torn-achilles-at-practice/ Quote
