Agree but I still believe Stevenson has a role on this team. I'm aware his injury hurts his chances and the WR depth is very good but I feel he's too talented to cut or place on the PS (where he'll get poached). Also believe the staff has high expectations of him.

I'd love to see Stevenson over Kumerow.  Otherwise I agree with this list

I would anticipate some sort of arrangement with Formosa Jones to cut & immediately re-sign after injury list moves re-open a spot by stashing White/Boettger. Don't know that you'd have to worry too much about a 34-year old teamer getting poached. There was a similar move with Andre Roberts a couple years back.

They also did it with Reid Ferguson last year.

Right now the Giants are salavating to see who the can pick-off from our PS> They need wide receiviers.

They are very weak at TE too.

Your history is correct but Cook is a different type of RB. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

This is yet another reason to not have Gilliam on the roster. I would much rather dress Motor, Moss, Cook, and Jones.  Moss or one of the backup TEs can line up at FB. Waste of a roster spot.

I mean, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. But considering they just gave him an extension, he's not going anywhere.

Better then the way to early mock drafts

Mock drafts should be illegal. Post one, it’s 30 days in the cooler and you can’t return til you get a job!

Stevenson is going to IR. No way he's taking a spot injured over Hodgins and Kumerow.

They do not have to make a move with White or Boettger.  They are on PUP (active) right now and count on the 90/85/80 man roster.  Because they were designated PUP before camp they can be moved to PUP (inactive) and do not count as part of the 53, but then have to sit out the first 4 games (this changed from 6 in previous years).  They can then get activated from PUP with a roster move to get on the 53.

The 2 injured people that may need this move right now are Stevenson and Doyle if either are hurt enough to be unavailable and need the 4 week IR with return designation.

They can also activate White (or Boettger) from PUP at any time now and then would need them on the 53 when cuts come.

There is no longer an advantage I do not think to activate from PUP and move to IR return prior to the season.

No way Blackshear hits our practice squad.  He's proven to be a very versatile and productive player as a runner, pass catcher and returner.  Not every team is deep like our Bills.

We will have to see - that was a common thought on Williams and Wade in previous years (and honestly going back years at RB and WR)  and the truth is most teams have 5 RBs right now good enough to play in the NFL and several were drafted higher and have more NFL game experience than Blackshear and will be cut in the coming days.

I love what Blackshear gives, but he just went through the entire draft and no one wanted him and then went to UDFA where he was not an immediate sign priority guy, but a later pick-up by the Bills.

The Bills have to be down to 80 by tomorrow. By my count they are at 84, anyone care to wager who the four guys on the outs will be?

1) Ja’Marcus Ingram, CB

2) Neil Pau’u, WR

3) Alec Anderson, OL

4) C.J. Brewer, DT

I doubt Anderson goes. He has been decent and I am sure they wanna PS him. I'll say Prince Emili, DT is the other cut. They have a clear pecking order there of the top 4 guys and then Ankou and Bryant who I imagine they want to keep on the PS.

This is tough to do.  There are 10+ easy cuts at this point and determining which are the first to go out of that batch is hard to predict.  My bet is that the Bills are at least partially motivated (on this cut) by whether or not someone is a "glue guy"/popular.  All things being equal, someone who is "good in the room" likely gets held on to until the last cut.  The problem is we don't get to see any of that so it is hard to judge.
