McD was right to sit him after the fumble.  He is young and a point needed to be made.  He will learn from it.  He'll be back and involved, not a big deal.

i'm afraid learning is not his strong suit  :  wonderlic = 6  which is below the 5th percentile..  Hopefully his instincts develop.

Good lord, it is his first game.

Leave the kid alone

Seriously. Not to mention the fact that, if people care to really examine the play, Leonard Floyd punched that ball out while Cook was in the air from the tackle. It was a good defensive play - Cook didn't just put the ball on the ground.

Cook is better at taking the Wonderlic than you are at posting...

I don’t know his posting history. But this time his post is spot on. And nothing has been shown so far to dispute that. Maybe in time you will be correct. But right now he is.

iS this true, did he only have a 6 on the wonderlic?

yes.  the average engineer is in the 29 range.  6 is like the the 3rd percentile.  will it matter?  maybe.

I’ll give him this. If there’s any position in football that doesn’t require you to be intelligent, it’s RB. It’s a highly instinctual position. Hopefully he’s got great instincts
