I would’ve let him get a few more touches but as long as it’s not the dog house long term I’m ok sending some sort of message to, I hope we'll see Cook out the McDoghouse next Moday night. 1 Quote

Let's hope he's not in the McDoghouse. He will get another chance. But if Cook fumbles again in the next 2-3 games he’s going to have a big problem with the coaching staff. 11 minutes ago, Freddie's Dead said: I hope we'll see Cook out the McDoghouse next Moday night. John from Riverside Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 I would still rather see them out there than moss 1 1 Quote

chongli Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Once we have a future game in hand, let's try him again and feed him the ball to get his confidence up. Quote
MJS Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 He'll get more shots. Moss fumbled it too. Quote

Big C Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Cook will be fine. Still pretty clear that Singletary is the best back on the roster. Good vision, good moves, tough finish, plus pass pro. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them continue to split reps early in the season though. Quote

For example...Kareem Hunt fumbled his first carry after never fumbling a ball in college. It means nothing really, doesn't change his potential. Now if he goes on to have a fumbling problem, that's a different story. 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Was a poor start. He didn't actually look super fast or explosive either. They put him out there lined up wide and one point and he seemed to run a wrong route. Not sure he quite looks ready. Might join Elam in the being brought along slowly camp. 2 Quote

RyanC883 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 at this point, just trade our 1st-2nd round picks for a bunch later in the draft. Beans picks later on are crazy. Jackson(7th), Benford (6), Dqvis (4) and Brown (3), Milano (5) all making an impact last night. In all seriousness, Cook likely just had an off game, just happened to be the first one. Quote
bmur66 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 I have really not seen anything from Cook yet but I am sure it will get figured out. By the way, did Singletary also fumble his first real NFL carry? I know someone else did too. Quote
ddaryl Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Yeah Cook need to learn to protect the Ball.. Same as Moss hopefully lessons learned Quote
Doc Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Gonna need to do the "carry this football around for the week and don't let anyone knock it out of your arm" thing. Quote
corta765 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 After last night his problem will be not seeing the field for the next 8 weeks due to fumbling lol Quote
DCofNC Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Guess they shouldn’t have hidden their new weapon all pre-season. I just don’t see it with these RBs. Motor is the clear cut lead guy, yet Moss gets all the work. For whatever reason they decided to draft a guy who was a back up in college, to a guy who’s not as good as Moss and expected him to be a big factor. Interesting strategy all around. Quote
machine gun kelly Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 He’ll be ok. He had first game jitters. He’ll be fine. McD will sit him down, and get him to relax. Never get too excited or low on a guy. Just as I’m elated from last night, it’s not like we won’t have to fight through some wins. 1 Quote
Pete Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Lil Dirty screwed up, they went back to him. Crowder screwed up, they went back to him. Cook screwed up, they will go back to them. Bills aren’t giving up on a brother Quote
