davspo Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 McD was right to sit him after the fumble. He is young and a point needed to be made. He will learn from it. He'll be back and involved, not a big deal. 1 Quote
Wayne Arnold Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 There's a rookie running back in the organization who I'm confident wouldn't have fumbled last night. 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Man what a way to start your career. Poor guy will have nightmares all week Quote

Not to mention the fact that, if people care to really examine the play, Leonard Floyd punched that ball out while Cook was in the air from the tackle. It was a good defensive play - Cook didn't just put the ball on the ground. 22 minutes ago, redtail hawk said: i'm afraid learning is not his strong suit : wonderlic = 6 which is below the 5th percentile.. Airseven Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 It’ll blow over. He was always going to be a slow and methodical implementation into the offense. Fumble doesn’t change that in game 1. Quote

But this time his post is spot on. And nothing has been shown so far to dispute that. Maybe in time you will be correct. But right now he is. 1 1 Quote

I’ll give him this. If there’s any position in football that doesn’t require you to be intelligent, it’s RB. It’s a highly instinctual position. Hopefully he’s got great instincts 1 Quote
Fleezoid Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Well, it looks like he's going to have to carry a football with him everywhere he goes for the next 10 days. Quote
