Brady and Gronk should have done 1 year fully guaranteed big money contracts and just become FA after every season. They go to Tampa and win the Super Bowl year 1. How much do you think he's worth then in the next free agency? How much would a team pay to be Super Bowl champs? I know he probably doesn't *need* the money but locking in for 3 years in Tampa seems silly and now he's stuck there when it doesn't seem like he wants to be there, taking off 2 weeks right in the middle of training camp. I think he thought he could fake retire and then Tampa would let him go to Miami or whoever if he decided to play again and it didn't work out that way
