buffalo2218 Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 I apologize if posting this in the stadium wall was wrong, but I need some advice. I'm considering going to Buffalo to visit during the first week of the regular season. I was wondering where some good sports bars are where I can watch the game. Or is there a possibility of the game being shown at the stadium? Quote
StHustle Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 716 was a good local bar to catch games at (even owned by the Pegulas) but they sold it after the pandemic hit and I'm not sure about it right now under new ownership but may be worth looking into. 1 Quote
MiltonWaddams Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Go enjoy some good wings and beef on weck at Big Tree Inn. It’s in OP, so ya gotta get there early. 2 1 Quote
Solomon Grundy Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 There may be some action on Chippewa for season opener 1 Quote

There will be people outside in the lots with TV's set up watching the game as well because all you need is a TV and a little antenna to get the local HD broadcast in the lots. 1 Quote

It’s southern tier brew house now and idk because of Covid and such but 99% sure they would be playing the game and it’s honestly better ran now 1 Quote
NickelCity Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 If you're flying in make sure to hit Charlie the Butcher on Wehrle after you land. My favorite beef on weck. 2 2 Quote

K D Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Go to Buffalo week 2. Even if you don't go to the game, the home opener is always the best tailgate Quote
RiotAct Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 all great suggestions above. The stadium will NOT be showing the game, just a heads up. Quote
Mark Vader Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 Advice?! Is this an @Chef Jim thread in disguise? Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 A good alternative to Mighty Taco is Colosso Taco in Tonawanda, just a little hole in the wall, but great food. Large meat and cheese burrito hits the spot. Duff's for wings, Charlie the Butcher for Beef on Weck. Quote
