Allen-Diggs rank second

Rank

2

Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills · QB

Stefon Diggs

Buffalo Bills · WR

This duo has been nearly unstoppable since Diggs joined the Bills in 2020, with Diggs ranking in the top five in targets (330, first), receptions (230, third) and receiving yards (2,760, fourth) since 2020. In their first season together, it felt as if Diggs was the leader of this duo, but Allen took the reins last season, becoming one of the toughest quarterbacks to defend with this ability to make every throw in the playbook while posing the threat to take off with his legs at any moment. The following Next Gen Stats metrics proves just how dangerous Allen makes the Bills' offense:

24 pass TDs on throws of 10-plus air yards in 2021 (most in NFL)

12 pass TDs outside tackle box in 2021 (most in NFL)

12 pass TDs on the run in 2021 (most in NFL)

The veteran wideout has been instrumental in Allen's improvement, and the sky's the limit for this pair in 2022 -- as it is for most of the duos on this list. While Allen, currently the favorite to win the MVP award according to Caesars Sportsbook, wows in almost everything he does, Diggs is the meticulous and reliable receiver who keeps his head down and constantly shows up for his quarterback and team.

I'm almost never this guy when it comes to the Bills, but JA and Diggs at #2 feels too low (as does Mahomes/Kelce IMO)

Im not too nit picky on it.  Burrow and Chase is a pretty elite connection too.

I’m not a huge Kirk Cousins guy, but Jefferson isn’t setting all those records throwing to himself….Winston and Thomas are on this list but Cousins/Jefferson isn’t?

It is very good no doubt, but Allen > Burrow and Diggs > Chase IMO

I’m already bored with the Joe Burrow hype.  At least Herbert, Jackson and Murray are exciting to watch.

He’s very good.  Maybe after this year, I’ll be a believer.

Or maybe after this year he’ll still be the guy who has a ton of weapons but got carried by his defense and FG kicker in the playoffs.

Thank you. And here I thought I had been losing my marbles all offseason like I was the only dude that seemed to notice this.

Agreed. And I don’t think it’s too much to ask that we see more than one year of production before we crown the Burrow/Chase duo as #1.

Mmmm...yep. He's very much like a young Matt Ryan. Definitely not going to win an style points.

Chase is awesome and has a great attitude/work ethic.

I think the Bills ranking is fine, respectable, and agreeable. The Burrow-Chase connection was just unreal last year. I get it. May be a little bit of hype inflation because our boys have been doing it for longer, but hard to argue with #2. The rest of the list is awful.

As much as I hate Cousins, give me Cousins-Jefferson all day. Surprised they weren't top-5 really. Being left off the list entirely is ridiculous.

They've got to stop with this Michael Thomas nonsense. Winston and Thomas ranked 10th? Did some high intern win an award to be able to submit that? Thomas hasn't played in nearly two years and Famous Jameis is still the finger licking W eating Famous Jameis that we all know and love. People are treating him like some elite QB now, as if he doesn't throw 30 interceptions when he throws 30 TDs. Who in their right mind would rather have Winston/Thomas over Cousins/Jefferson?

I didn't really think about it, but yeah, Winston/Thomas > Cousins/Jefferson is insane.

lets be real. who else can convert that two point conversion against the chiefs?

JA17 to SD14. How many times have they disappointed? Ill tell you how many times.

0.

Great point. Just wish we went for 2 after the last Davis TD to put the lead at 4 instead of 3. Killer instinct.
