For a point of comparison the 2016 draft was the last one not done by this regime: 1st Round Shaq Lawson 2nd Round Reggie Ragland 3rd Round Adolphus Washington 4th Round Cardale Jones 5th Round Jonathan Williams 6th Round Colby Listenbee 6th Round Kevon Seymour Do you have an opinion about how this team has drafted under the new regime? Literally the first link is the 2021 draft..... For a point of comparison, this is the list of players drafted in 2016 that were retained in 2016 (similar to what would happen if all of the rookies from 2022 made the team or weren't outright cut). 1st Round Shaq Lawson 2nd Round Reggie Ragland 3rd Round Adolphus Washington 4th Round Cardale Jones 5th Round Jonathan Williams 6th Round Colby Listenbee 6th Round Kevon Seymour Quote

Even cut and pasted it doesn't work. Regardless, you didn't answer the question. Quote

Regardless, you didn't answer the question. My point was easily made. In 2016, even with all those bums, they all hung around that year. Because that's the NFL economy. And yes, clearly Beane is infinitely better than the greatest bum of them all, Whaley. Quote

Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 As long as Allen is our QB I expect all of our offensive draft picks to be at worst serviceable. A great QB makes everyone around him better. Quote

BigDingus Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Let's not sell Bernard short either. That was a sweet scoop & run for a TD. Quote

Sure looks like its going to be gold (very early however). It would be a unique one I'd say, usually a team that is the the Vegas favorite I'd assume is hard for rookies to make, but it seems as if Beane nailed this draft!!! Quote

Trying to have logical discussion with people that are saying LJ and TT are similar? It’s not hard. It impossible as it’s not logical. I’m surprised that you would be one of the guys saying they are similar. I gave you too much credit. 1 Quote

As far as the LJ topic is concerned, how could you argue they aren't similar. Unless you are arguing that similar means same, in which case I would point you to the good people at Merriam Webster. All but one of your links are threads created the day after the draft in April. meanwhile, the OPs post was triggered by and consists of talk of actual play of the rookies in preseason and training camp….mid august. if you think those posts are the same, than you probably think Lamar Jackson and Tyrod Taylor are the similar. Tyrod is a scrambling qb that doesn’t scramble that well. LJ is the best QB runner ever. Tyrod has 59 TDs passes in 78 games. Lamar has 84 TDs in 58 games. They are both dual threat QBs. They aren’t even close to comparable. 1 1 Quote
